Gone are the days when being in relationship was everyone's goal for sure
All young generation looking up to the adults and wishing for  the phase to befall them really quick .
Those were the few moments we can call immemorial, but short lived, everything has changed now.
Everything tasting sour in the relationship everyone thought was a walk in the park
Or simply having a walk in rose flower garden kind of

The hunting season for freshmen and fresh women is the new business of the day in the higher institutions of learning, campuses
The predator laying low or as they will rightfully put it low-key moment.
Possible ways of luring the prey to fall into trap in the name of love at first sight and a relationship created over a night,no wasting time you know.
It's done really first and quick that the two find themselves in this love birds web .
Like it's said,you cannot advice a person who is in love right?
Well the same happens in this phase of love cultivation and relationship formation , I would call it a coalition were it in politics.

From playing the victim to being the victim,from love bites, hickeys to painful pinches to finally punches,a punch bag
What a turn of events in what we all thought to be a perfect definition of happiness
Turning sour, tasteless,lacks the sugar,the honey that first lured the prey,and being toxic now.

 Toxic relationship majorly occurs due to lies,lots of disguise, falling in love with darkness in daytime, hurried decisions, being irrational and bloating one's sense of reason really fast .

Seeing someone as a goddess,a gem,till you can't let go despite the ill treatment,
Keeping on playing the victim in the name of mistakes made, believing in lies and tending to hold on with a belief that it's love
Most campus students are this category of relationship, it's no longer the garden of Eden on earth but trouble in paradise
The promises of happiness,joy, undeniable love it was all lust ,

As we blame the decisions made really quick in the relationship triangle let's also remember that some relationship are really good I mean both parties are really fond of each other, crazy they say but oops they turn toxic, why?
Over spicing, overdoing things in these kind of relationship make them toxic,one person going out of their way in the name of love sacrifices only to realize the other part wasn't really interested or has Been in cheating
They get really broken, shaken and boom they turn helpless because of the efforts they have put in place and not being reciprocated in the long run
Blame games kick in and lots of hurt , depression and hopeless hope that things will be back to normal but they tend not

Campus relationship have so far surpassed the scale of rating if it was to be done, turning the worst in people and arousing the animal deep within,
The ones lovers being foes in no time, heartbreak each other,and erode the feelings and emotionals to ever trust in any relationship to come along their way ever,

What ought to be done is still a mystery, students living in oblivion state,
As each day rise they falling deep into this abyss,a sea of thoughts and end up being depressed
Preaching self love to them takes time, most wants to keep knocking at that door hoping to find a smooth run to open the hinges and unlock the happiness they once had
And thus find themselves running to the same spot which keeps on hurting them, inducing pain to their virgin souls
And some begin a reckless life of living,
And thus misusing the YOLO,You Only Live Once slogan.

Toxic relationship have grown in numbers
What is of more interest is they never stop, and the students never stop trying,at least quite a number.
Until we all stay in a reverie and recollect ourselves,the word toxic relationship won't stop being our painful vocabulary that we were forced to learn
Until we do soulsearching, discover our Worth,pick our broken pieces and promise ourselves never to get them shattered again,it will keep reoccurring

As I pick my pen ready to rest,the toxicity in relationship especially in campuses is a cancer whose treatment is easy to find yet we as students don't want to be in such treatment therapies of our own.
